About SOON
Soon Art Studio is a vibrant gallery and workspace located in the heart of Vienna, Austria. Founded and operated by the creative duo Rob Perez, also known as Deadbeat Hero, and his partner Elisabeth Perez, both accomplished street artists and graphic designers, the studio serves as a dynamic hub for artistic expression and collaboration.
At Soon Art Studio, we curate a diverse range of exhibitions that showcase the work of both established and emerging artists, creating a platform for dialogue and inspiration within the local and broader art community. In addition to our exhibitions, we host engaging workshops that encourage community participation and skill development, allowing individuals to explore their creativity under the guidance of talented artists.
One of our unique offerings is the Artist in Residence program, which provides artists with the opportunity to live above the gallery while they prepare for their forthcoming exhibitions. This immersive experience not only allows artists to focus on their creative work but also fosters a sense of connection with the local community and the vibrant art scene in Vienna.

Art exhibition by Lym Moreno
**Exhibition: Trópico Resonante by Lym Moreno**
**Date: November 22nd, 18:00**
We invite you to the opening of “Tropico Resonante,” an exciting exhibition by Venezuelan artist Lym Moreno at Soon Art Studio. This unique event will showcase Moreno’s diverse artistic practice, which includes cut paper collage, paper sculpture, drawing, stop motion animation, and printmaking techniques such as woodcut and linocut. Since 2004, she has also worked in the public space under her pseudonym “MOSTA,” expanding her visual language and experimenting with various formats and contexts.
Lym Moreno’s work reflects a deep engagement with cultural narratives and vibrant aesthetics, inviting viewers to experience the connections between personal and collective identities. Through her artistic exploration, she creates immersive environments that resonate with the themes of her native Venezuelan landscape.
The exhibition will feature live music, enhancing the atmosphere of the evening, and a selection of drinks will be available for guests to enjoy as they explore the evocative works on display. Street art workshops are back!
Looking for a fun creative workshop?
STREET ART WORKSHOPS:
American street artist Deadbeat Hero will be your host as we discuss Viennese street art culture and brainstorm y0ur design. We will then choose our colors and make our way to the largest area of legal walls in Europe!
Your host will assist you in creating your piece, from beginning to end. No previous experience required!
Each session is roughly 3 hours (sometimes less in smaller groups).
Cost: €50 (ages 12 and older)
(all materials included)
Minimum 4 people per workshop.

TIPSY KUNSTLER WORKSHOPS:
Tipsy Kunstler workshops are street art themed art, you can take home! An art party for adults 16 and older.
Gather your friends (and some drinks) and join us for an afternoon of creative expression! In this unique workshop, we spend most of our time in our studio. we will start with some beverages and a short introduction. No skills or experience required! These workshops are designed for you to experiment with your creative side, even if you think you don’t have one!
We will provide the materials and the atmosphere. You bring the drinks and the friends! At the end of the workshop, you will have a piece of art YOU created and can take home with you!

Workshop FAQs
Payment for this workshop is possible through the AirBnB platform. If you would like to pay another way please email us. The total per person is €64 and includes all materials.
The maximum is 10.
This workshop is aimed for people 10 and older.
We provide painting aprons to cover your clean clothes but if you are a naturally messy person, maybe bring a change of clothes with you just in case. Also, gloves are optional so if you are afraid to her your hands dirty then please provide your own hand wear.

Join our (Street) Artist in Residency program here in Vienna, Austria!
Run by artists, for artists!
The Soon Art Studio Artist Residency Program in Vienna, Austria, is designed to support both emerging and established artists by providing them with a dedicated space to create and showcase their work. Artists can choose from 2, 3, or 4-week residencies, during which they will have the opportunity to focus on their artistic practice in an inspiring environment.
**Activities and Objectives:**
1. **Creative Space:** Artists will be provided with accommodation above the gallery, ensuring a conducive atmosphere for creativity and reflection.
2. **Networking:** Residents will have the chance to connect with local and international artists, curators, and art enthusiasts, fostering valuable relationships within the art community.
3. **Workshops and Talks:** The program may include workshops and artist talks, allowing participants to engage in discussions about their work, share ideas, and gain insights from peers.
4. **Exhibition Opportunity:** At the end of the residency, artists will have the chance to exhibit their works in the gallery, providing them with exposure and the opportunity to connect with a wider audience.
5. **Feedback and Support:** Artists will receive constructive feedback on their works from peers and mentors, enhancing their creative process and professional development.
The Soon Art Studio Residency Program aims to nurture artistic innovation and exploration, empowering artists to advance their practice while contributing to the vibrant cultural landscape of Vienna.

The residencies range from 2 weeks (€650), 3 weeks (€850), and 4 weeks (€1250).
Longer residencies are also available. Contact us for more information.
Each residency will require the artists to secure their spot by signing our residency agreement and a deposit of €200.
We can host up to 3 artists at one time, but that doesn’t mean that there will be joining at the same time.
