Art to Connect People

SOON Art Studio, founded by artists Rob and Elisabeth Perez, was born out of a shared belief that art is not only a form of personal expression but also a powerful vehicle for connection, dialogue, and transformation.

At its core, the studio is a living space for creativity – a place where ideas are exchanged, boundaries are pushed, and artistic voices are amplified.

A place to connect & explore

We believe that meaningful art often emerges through collaboration and cultural exchange. That’s why we’ve built SOON not just as a studio or gallery, but as an open platform: a space where artists from around the world can come together, challenge each other, and grow side by side.

Our artist residency program is an extension of that vision — offering artists the time, space, and community they need to focus deeply on their practice. It’s a place to take creative risks, explore new directions, and connect with the local culture and fellow creatives. What drives us is the belief that art can—and should—be inclusive, accessible, and community-centered.

From Artists for Artists

What truly sets SOON Art Studio apart is that it is co-founded and run by two practicing artists: Rob Perez, an illustrator and street artist from Texas known as Deadbeat Hero, and Elisabeth Perez, a graphic designer and visual artist working under the name Rapunze. Together, we bring a dynamic blend of street art, illustration, graphic design, and spatial exploration into our work — shaped by our transatlantic backgrounds and shared creative vision.

Our artistic practice is rooted in collaboration, experimentation, and public engagement. We’ve painted murals and exhibited works across Europe and the United States, participating in festivals, residencies, and community-driven art initiatives. Beyond our individual and joint projects, we are deeply committed to fostering dialogue through creativity: hosting regular workshops, talks, and open studio events at our space in Vienna.
