I-Han Su from Taiwan focuses on the anxious generation in contemporary society, using her art to reflect on how individuals confront inner confusion and unease in a rapidly changing and highly uncertain world, seeking self-positioning. By perceiving and recording her inner thoughts and emotions, she translates them through the flow and layered buildup of oil paint into concrete "inner landscapes," attempting to uncover the meaning of life from these frozen moments of the inner world. The exhibition “Blooming from Desolation” 12 works from her series, embodying her journey in pursuit of life's meaning. I-Han's landscapes always carry a sense of serenity and tranquility, as if temporarily transporting viewers away from the hustle and bustle of the mundane world to settle and dialogue with their deepest selves; the desolate, uninhabited scenes hint at the inevitable solitude individuals face on their life journeys. In every piece, flying white bird symbols can be found, derived from the transformation of the Chinese character "人 (meaning human)," symbolizing us as seekers in the vast world. Meanwhile, the distinctive blue-purple palette in I-Han's works guides viewers into her inner world of interwoven reality and dream.
