Courtney is an autobiographical artist who explores the sensations and vulnerabilities of female existence. Her preferred mediums include printmaking, cyanotype, stencils, photography, video, and poetry – she often jokes, “anything except paint.” Using reduction relief printmaking, she embraces its challenges, while poetry and photography serve as visual journals that capture emotions and document her story.
Courtney has exhibited in the U.S. and internationally, with prints featured in The Hand Magazine. She teaches at Tarrant County College and collaborates with Mudhouse Art Residency in Crete. She lives in Fort Worth, Texas, with her daughters and printshop cats, Winchester and Goat-Cheese.
